American Tapestry Alliance Student Award
The new “ATA Student
Award” is designed to encourage
fiber arts students to study the art of Tapestry. The prize is
$250, a one year student membership to ATA and a feature article
in the ATA quarterly newsletter. This award will be offered annually
to
students who are currently enrolled in a college fiber program.
Students entering the competition will submit both visual and written
material in a CD format.
Students will apply by the 15th of April
each year with the winner announced in time for recognition at
their graduation. The full details of the Student Award are posted

Gervers Research Fellowship
in Costume
and Textile History
Up to CAN$9000 will be awarded to a scholar working on any aspect
of textile or costume history. Research must incorporate, or
support,
ROM collections, which cover a broad range of time and geography.
